Jochen Dettmer

Jochen Dettmer is the spokesman for the board at NEULAND-Verein für tiergerechte und umweltschonende Nutztierhaltung e.V., as well as the deputy agricultural spokesman for Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland (BUND) and a board member of AgrarBündnis e.V. The graduate agricultural engineer manages an Organic/NEULAND farm in Belsdorf, Sachsen-Anhalt, with his wife.

Sven Euen

After training as an animal farmer, Sven Euen studied oecotrophology at the Universities of Niederrhein and Fulda. From 1993 to 2013, he was head of quality and raw materials management at Kurhessische Fleischwaren, the meat plant of the tegut Group. His focus in this function was the development of branded meat programs for conventional and for organic production of high-quality meat and sausage products.

The consideration of the entire value chain and the integration of all stages led, among other things, inevitably to the renunciation of genetically modified feed, also in the production for conventional meat products. In 2010, tegut was an initiator and founding member of VLOG. Sven Euen was a member of the executive board since its foundation until 2017. Currently, he is active in raw material management for the company Feneberg Lebensmittel GmbH in Allgäu.

Wolfgang Koehler

Wolfgang Koehler has worked as a civil servant in various federal and state ministries, including 5 years in the then Federal Ministry of Regional Planning, Building and Urban Development, 8 years in the State Chancellery and Representation of the State of Niedersachsen, 13 years in the Federal Chancellery and 10 years in the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection.

Most recently, he headed the department responsible for genetic engineering in the German government. In this function, he was responsible for the legal regulations in the field of genetically modified plants, food and feed. As the German representative, he was president of the Cartagena Protocol, the UN agreement on the transboundary transport, handling, and distribution of genetically modified organisms. He studied law in Berlin and Bonn.

Jochen Koester

Jochen Koester is managing director of AgroTrace, a Swiss brokerage company active in the global trade of GMO-free agricultural raw materials. Since 1998 he has been intensively involved in non-GMO production, certification, analytics, distribution and the relevant legal regulations - especially during his many years of professional experience abroad, especially in the U.S.A. and Brazil. He is well connected in these two and in other important producer countries of raw materials and an expert of the respective soybean industries also in India and Canada.

VLOG founding board member until 2019 and a fully qualified lawyer, he has relevant knowledge regarding the labeling regulations of the EU as well as on the national level of several countries. Already early publication of technical articles for the "GMO-free" practice. - Feels responsible within VLOG especially for international issues. Since 2012 he has also been a member of the board of the ProTerra® Foundation.
