What is an incident case?

Mistakes can always happen. If non-VLOG-compliant animals, food or feed have been placed on the market as "VLOG", with the "Ohne GenTechnik" or the "VLOG geprüft" seal, if there is a threat of damage to the image or if the VLOG system is endangered in any other way, these are "incident cases" according to the VLOG Standard.

In the event of an incident case, VLOG must be informed as soon as possible. Even if you are unsure whether it is an incident case - report it immediately. Even if all the facts are not yet available, the sooner a case is reported to VLOG, the better. Even outside business hours.

Incident case sheets

Everyone who is affected by or becomes aware of an incident case (suppliers, customers, farmers, manufacturers etc.) report it to VLOG. Each company fills out its own incident case sheet. In group or matrix certifications, the notification can be bundled by the organiser. In the incident case sheets you will find further industry-specific information on the subject of incident cases.
